The Agilist’s Guidebook – A reference for agile transformation: Book Available now

Finally, my book is out !! in India.

Only Physical copy to start with!

It was a six months journey to arrive at here, and the course is pursuing...
It took one month to discover the publisher based on the budget I had. I was not ready to invest much. I was in moderation. Frankly speaking, my budget was greatly less.
I zeroed the current publisher. I was in a dilemma with the only e-book as the Physical copy was costing too much.
My colleagues proposed, without physical touch, there is no product! we should hold it, feel it and touch it!

Ok, I chose to go with Physical and e-book.
I started compiling the manuscript. It was a tiresome process. It was an extremely demanding work. It calls for continuous attention. Lot of rewrite. Discussion with many companions. I disturb them a lot. Thanks to the previous company where I spent substantial time on research, visualization, articulation, debate, etc. Without that, it would be unthinkable.
My mother tongue is Bengali, Hardly I can compose decent English. I am speaking Binglish( Bengali English). My grammar is terrible.
I took help from my colleagues. The Publisher was asking 30k INR for Grammer checking and correction! I said sorry , no more money . With the aid of Grammarly tool, I had repaired the grammar.
An initial agreement with the publisher was 250 pages 20 images. The physical copy would be roughly 250 INR MRP.
In a couple of months with many debates, discussion with my friends, my book size has become 340 pages and no of images were 70+ !!!

It was terrible for the publisher to accommodate this many pages and images with the price they offer. They had to raise the cost. My budget exceeded.
Several variants of pdf review concluded with many of my friends.
During this time, I had glimpsed into hundreds of the book, their design, size, the number of pages, everything about a book! I read dozens of the website about books! I was drenched in book writing!

I had one question in my mind, why someone will pay 1 INR for this book, will he/she will get 10 INR in return?
I had the challenge to add all my mind map images as the resolution was of extremely poor condition.
We had struggled a lot, researched a lot on this.
Standard book size was 25 × 20 cm
To accommodate image with quality, we had to built up the book size like A4. Initially; I was not admitted. How can a book look like be A4 size Practical notebook?
After many nights we work out, it will be 27 x 21 x 1.5 cm.
It raises the cost again!!!

We determined the final MRP is 349 INR

I received my promised book at my place after paying final payment after several days of waiting.
Now a few days back publisher announced that with the present prize it is not viable to undertake the printing of this book with the quality of the paper. That is how now physical copy in Amazon showing 449 INR!!!

After several months of struggle, nightmare, dream, my book is visible.

Nice to look at the Physical copy.

The size of the book is bigger than the normal book.

This book has 46 mind maps in different areas. 7 different case studies.

The Principles of Product Development - FLOW

Why YOU should write your own book?

Alison Jones, the author of "This Book Means Business", informed us that creating a book “forces you to get clear on your ideas, and explore them in more depth.”

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing." --Benjamin Franklin

1. You have your own story to say. Let us all know your story and look at what can we gain from it.

2. During the course of writing, you will discover yourself better. You will come to know many new things about yourself. Writing a book will also teach you about the unique value of your own willpower.

3. Writing a book is the fastest way to gain credibility, establish yourself as an expert in your field, and build a professional reputation

4. It is much easy to publish a book nowadays. You need to keep typing your own story for several months and your book is ready.

"I kept always two books in my pocket, one to read, one to write in." --Robert Louis Stevenson

5. Once you decided to write a book. You will explore a lot on a daily basis. You will observe a new thing which you will occupy as a part of your book.

6. You will read a lot. For the purpose of your new venture, you will start changing your thoughts. You will become more unique, day by day.

7. Completing a book is a big ego booster even if nobody reads it. Just the fact you took on such a large project and finished it is something you can constantly look back on with amusement.

8. A big contribution to the society and community. It could impact many individuals.

"The purpose of a writer is to keep civilization from destroying itself."--Albert Camus

9. This is one way—perhaps the most important way—to set yourself apart and get noticed. It provides an unfair advantage in today’s dog-eat-dog world.

10. It will help your thinking capacity, writing proficiency, English compilation capability. Ability to express complex substance into a modest form.

"I write to discover what I know."--Flannery O'Connor

11. It will build endurance. As you have to persist a lot to complete a book, it will develop all these skills

12. You will be remembered for your book. You will not be there but your book will be there forever!

"The purpose of a writer is to keep civilization from destroying itself."--Albert Camus

13. Writing a book is a tremendous mental challenge and overcoming it is a great triumph.

14. In our culture, book writing considered as the absolute proof of your mastery.

"I am irritated by my own writing. I am like a violinist whose ear is true, but whose fingers refuse to reproduce precisely the sound he hears within." --Gustave Flaubert

15. You will not be the same person once you have completed a book.

16. Your parents will be proud of you.

"Find out the reason that commands you to write; see whether it has spread its roots into the very depth of your heart; confess to yourself you would have to die if you were forbidden to write." ― Rainer Maria Rilke

PANCHA BHOOTA MODEL

What is this Pancha Bhoota?

Pancha Bhoota or Pancha Maha-Bhoota, five major elements, also five physical elements, is a group of five basic elements, which, according to Hinduism, is the basis of all cosmic creation.

According to the ancient theory of life on earth came into existence because of these elements. They say that our body as a whole is a complex constituent of Pancha Bhoota. These five elements are believed to be the basis for the creation of all cosmic rays. All the five have unique characteristics and account for different kinds of experiences.

These elements are Prithvi (Earth), Jal (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air), Aakash (Space). These elements have unique characteristics and these also account for various faculties of human experience.

What is the Pancha Bhoota model?
Five elements in the Pancha Bhoota Model are the enabler which will benefit the organization to gain agility.

Each element is liable to strengthen the different structure in the organization. Each of the five elements has a special relationship with the other elements based on their nature. These relationships form the laws of nature.

All these elements function in parallel within an organization.

How can we strengthen these five pillars?
